 Established in 1994, Island Yacht Charters was operated by Peter de la Rosa. The company started off doing offshore fishing charters and catering to the corporate oil and gas clientele, hosting events and party cruises.

 

Sharing the same passion as his dad, Jonathan de la Rosa joined the business in 1998. With a push from Dan Jacobs, of Sport Fishing Magazine, who realized Trinidad's immense potential as a Tarpon fishery, Jonathan embarked on a 20 year-long journey, that now boasts one of the best Tarpon Fishing operations on the planet.
